Cedar Wildlife Sanctuary can be found in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts. Wendy Radford opened the sanctuary in 1996. Since then Wendy has taken in thousands of wild animals and has nursed them back to health. Those that were beyond help were allowed to die with dignity, and with as little pain as possible. Her patients have included Squirrels, Rabbits, Foxes, Owls, Hawks, Swallows, Geese, Ducks, Swans, Grebes, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Crows, Herons, Hedgehogs to name but a few. Wendy is an accomplished artist and teacher, and takes commissions to help fund the sanctuary.
